Teacher Corry Rosita

Corry was graduated from the University of Minnesota, USA. After completing her bachelor program, she continued her study in Beijing, China, focusing in learning Chinese as a second language for one and half years.

At the end of her last semester studying in Beijing, she decided to work. She later found her passion as an educator after her first year working as the cooking instructor one of children recreational centers in Beijing, China. In addition, she has five years of experience in early childhood education field, working in one of International Kindergartens in Beijing, China. Moreover, she also has had working experience with children from age of three to middle school for more than 2 years.

She believes that each child has limitless possibility in their understanding towards the world around them, only if both parents and educators work together as the facilitators during the discovery process.
She also believes that a healthy relationship, where there is acceptance, love, trust, and respect, is an important ingredient to nurture child’s emotional development, as that’s how a child interpret and learn what it means to accept, love, trust, and respect other people.

As she continues in her eighth year as an educator, she is eager to learn, explore, and grow together with children at EtonHouse Preschool Surabaya.

To conclude, Martin Luther King Jr once said, “Intelligence plus character- that is the goal of true education.”
